Chapter 14: As they sat at the table

Previous Chapter: I have set an example

In the early days, the disciples who saw the Jesus Christ as an ordinary person, did not know how greater is the privilege is to be with the Lord, and also the worldly desires prevented them being with Christ, this reality described in parable like this - the crowd gathered again, so that they could not even eat bread - Mark 3:20 

What is meant by "crowd gathered again"? its about the distraction of following Christ, as its always comes in the form of people which are operated by the power of darkness, even today, the journey with Christ getting disturbed by our family members or fellow believers or social circle or social media, which steels our time and energy, and eventually our relationship with Christ, that is what described in the Bible in a parable manner - "the crowd gathered again, so that they could not even eat bread".


As the days went by, the disciples began to understand Lord's power, by hearing his teaching and seeing his miraculous work, and now they are also started preaching the Gospel, but still they did not know Christ is God's only begotten Sun, and our eternal Bride-groom, and also, as we start following Christ, the distractions that scatter our thoughts and the demands that steal our time inevitably multiply, so they could not enjoy moment being with Christ, so it is written as - For there were many coming and going, and they did not even have time to eat - Mark 6:31

so, we must have to overcome the worldly affairs that separate us from Christ, Bible calls this worldly desire as "Crowd", because there is a power of darkness behind it, and they are numerous in number, so we must leave every worldly affairs behind us, and its like traveling from one side of the ocean to the other side - Now when Jesus saw a crowd around him, he gave orders to go over to the other side - Matthew 8:18

துவக்கத்தில் கர்த்தரின் அன்பை அறியாதிருந்த சீஷர்கள், கர்த்தரோடு மூன்றரை வருடங்கள் வாழ்ந்து, சிலுவையில் நமக்காக மரித்த கர்த்தரை நினைத்து ஏங்கி கொண்டிருந்தார்கள், கர்த்தரின் நினைவு அவர்களை வாட்டியது, அவரை காணத்துடித்தார்கள், அதை தான் போஜனபந்தியிலிருக்கையில் என்று வேதாகமம் அழைக்கிறது - 14.அதன்பின்பு பதினொருவரும் போஜனபந்தியிலிருக்கையில் அவர்களுக்கு அவர் தரிசனமாகி, உயிர்த்தெழுந்திருந்த தம்மைக் கண்டவர்களை அவர்கள் நம்பாமற்போனதினிமித்தம் அவர்களுடைய அவிசுவாசத்தைக்குறித்தும் இருதய கடினத்தைக்குறித்தும், அவர்களைக் கடிந்துகொண்டார். 15.பின்பு, அவர் அவர்களை நோக்கி: நீங்கள் உலகமெங்கும் போய், சர்வ சிருஷ்டிக்கும் சுவிசேஷத்தைப் பிரசங்கியுங்கள் - மாற்கு 16:14-15

அவர்களின் முன்பாக வாழை இலை சாப்பாடு இருக்கவில்லை, கர்த்தரின் உபதேசங்களும் கட்டளைகளையும் தான் இருந்தன, அப்பொழுது தான் மெய்யான போஜனமாகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து தரிசனமானார்.
