Every word that Christ spoke from the Cross are really remarkable, and especially what Christ said to His beloved mother and to his disciple are still break the hearts of those who read it, and its written like this in the Book of John - 26.When Jesus therefore saw His mother, and the disciple whom He loved standing by, He said to His mother, Woman, behold your son! 27.Then He said to the disciple, Behold your mother! And from that hour that disciple took her to his own home. 28.After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, I thirst! 29.Now a vessel full of sour wine was sitting there; and they filled a sponge with sour wine, put it on hyssop, and put it to His mouth. 30.So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, It is finished! And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit - John 19:26-30
Many believes that the Christ saying "Behold your mother" is to revel the True God to the entire mankind, and they became devotees to Mary, and this became a foundation for the Roman Catholic Churches that they worship Mary as God. At the same time, there are people who ignores what Christ said to His beloved mother and to his disciple, and saying that its a matter concerning Mary and John, and it has nothing to do with our salvation.
It is necessary to understand the true meaning of Christ saying and make a right decision, because as per prophecy, Christ must speak in parables, that means, every words of Christ will have worldly meaning as well as heavenly meaning, and the true heavenly meaning will be revealed to his children - 1.Give ear, O my people, to my teaching; incline your ears to the words of my mouth! 2.I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter dark sayings from of old, 3.things that we have heard and known, that our fathers have told us. 4.We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might, and the wonders that he has done - Psalm 78:1-4
The history says, many showed themselves as a savior of the world, but none of them spoke in parables, but Christ spoke everything in parables, that itself confirms that He is our promised Messiah - 34.All these things Jesus said to the crowds in parables; indeed, he said nothing to them without a parable. 35.This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet: I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world. 36.Then he left the crowds and went into the house. And his disciples came to him, saying, Explain to us the parable of the weeds of the field - Matthew 13:34-36
Here are some examples of Christ's parables[riddles], when Christ said, "Do not make My Father’s house a house of merchandise" that means he is talking about the Churches that needs to be repented, when the Christ said, "Destroy this temple" that means he is talking about his suffering and death, when the Christ said, "Beware of leaven" that means he is talking about the false teaching of Pharisees and Sadducees, when the Christ said "Elijah has come" that means He is talking about John the Baptist. but people always go with the direct meaning of his parables, and unacceptable mistake is when Christ is talking about the Heavenly Father the people thought he is talking about Moses - Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, it is not Moses who has given you the bread from heaven, but it is my Father who gives you the true bread from heaven - John 6:32
So, If Christ spoke everything in parables, Is not the saying of "Behold your mother" also a parable? If so, It must be pointing to someone else other than Mary itself, in that case, who stood by the Cross as a mother of Jesus with unexplainable pain and tears?
The Bible clearly says, to those who follow Christ with their whole heart, God will explain the parables and lead them into eternal life, but for others the same parables will be a sign of destruction, So we must ask God and understand the meaning of the every Christ's parable, and especially "Behold your mother" - 10.And when he was alone, those around him with the twelve asked him about the parables. 11.And he said to them, To you has been given the secret of the kingdom of God, but for those outside everything is in parables, 12.so that they may indeed see but not perceive, and may indeed hear but not understand, lest they should turn and be forgiven. 13.And he said to them, Do you not understand this parable? How then will you understand all the parables? 14.The sower sows the word. 15.And these are the ones along the path, where the word is sown: when they hear, Satan immediately comes and takes away the word that is sown in them. 16.And these are the ones sown on rocky ground: the ones who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with joy. 17.And they have no root in themselves, but endure for a while; then, when tribulation or persecution arises on account of the word, immediately they fall away. 18.And others are the ones sown among thorns. They are those who hear the word, 19.but the cares of the world and the deceitfulness of riches and the desires for other things enter in and choke the word, and it proves unfruitful. 20.But those that were sown on the good soil are the ones who hear the word and accept it and bear fruit, thirtyfold and sixtyfold and a hundredfold - Mark 4:10-20
