Trinity of Jesus Christ
Chapter 15: Law or the Prophets
Trinity of Jesus Christ
Chapter 15: Law or the Prophets
Previous Chapter: Ezekiel's Explanation
We are examining, with scriptural evidence, the truth that our Savior Jesus Christ is a God of Trinity, that means when the Son (the Word) was manifested in the flesh, the Son of the Father and the Son of the Holy Spirit also dwelt within Him and suffered for our salvation, Jesus Christ once mentioned that He came to this earth precisely to fulfill what was spoken in the Old Testament - Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them - Matthew 5:17
If Christ came to fulfill the Law and Prophets, how the message of his crucifixion kept secretly in the Law and Prophets, in the same way His trinity also mentioned secretly, In this segment, we will explore how this mystery is concealed within the books of the Old Testament.
The word "Hebrew" appears in several places in the Bible, including instances where God identifies Himself to Moses as the God of the Hebrews [Exodus 7:16], however, there is no historical evidence explaining the origin of this name, nor is it the name of a nation or a language. In the Bible, Abraham was the first to be called a "Hebrew," a designation he received because he had entered into a covenant with three individuals Mamre, Eshcol, and Aner - 12.They also took Lot, Abram’s brother’s son who dwelt in Sodom, and his goods, and departed. 13.Then one who had escaped came and told Abram the Hebrew, for he dwelt by the terebinth trees of Mamre the Amorite, brother of Eshcol and brother of Aner; and they were allies with Abram - Genesis 14:12-13
So, the origin of the word "Hebrew" was three men Mamre, Eshcol, and Aner who metaphorically explaining the Trinity of our Lord Jesus Christ, moreover, is it even credible that Abraham defeated the four kings, who had themselves vanquished eleven kingdoms, using only the three hundred and eighteen men born in his own household? Yet, the reason Abraham succeeded was the presence of Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre alongside him; they symbolize the very nature of our Lord. Furthermore, while it is stated that Abraham gave a tithe to Melchizedek, to whom did he ultimately give it? Was it not to those three—Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre? - 14.Now when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his three hundred and eighteen trained servants who were born in his own house, and went in pursuit as far as Dan. 15.He divided his forces against them by night, and he and his servants attacked them and pursued them as far as Hobah, which is north of Damascus. 16.So he brought back all the goods, and also brought back his brother Lot and his goods, as well as the women and the people. 17.And the king of Sodom went out to meet him at the Valley of Shaveh [that is, the King’s Valley], after his return from the defeat of Chedorlaomer and the kings who were with him. 18.Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; he was the priest of God Most High. 19.And he blessed him and said: “Blessed be Abram of God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth; 21.And blessed be God Most High, Who has delivered your enemies into your hand.” And he gave him a tithe of all. 21.Now the king of Sodom said to Abram, “Give me the persons, and take the goods for yourself.” 22.But Abram said to the king of Sodom, “I have raised my hand to the Lord, God Most High, the Possessor of heaven and earth, 23.that I will take nothing, from a thread to a sandal strap, and that I will not take anything that is yours, lest you should say, ‘I have made Abram rich’ 24.except only what the young men have eaten, and the portion of the men who went with me: Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre; let them take their portion - Genesis 14:14-24
While Abraham was in the land of the Philistines, he dug three wells, which symbolize our Living Water Jesus Christ, the Philistines' subsequent filling of these wells signifies Christ's death on the cross, while Isaac's act of re-digging them proclaims the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Why did Abraham dig three wells? What do the wells named Esek, Sitnah, and Rehoboth signify? They proclaim the Trinity of our Lord Jesus Christ - 14.He had possessions of flocks and herds and many servants, so that the Philistines envied him. 15.Now the Philistines had stopped and filled with earth all the wells that his father's servants had dug in the days of Abraham his father. 16.And Abimelech said to Isaac, “Go away from us, for you are much mightier than we.” 17.So Isaac departed from there and encamped in the Valley of Gerar and settled there. 18.And Isaac dug again the wells of water that had been dug in the days of Abraham his father, which the Philistines had stopped after the death of Abraham. And he gave them the names that his father had given them. 19.But when Isaac's servants dug in the valley and found there a well of spring water, 20.the herdsmen of Gerar quarreled with Isaac's herdsmen, saying, “The water is ours.” So he called the name of the well Esek, because they contended with him. 21.Then they dug another well, and they quarreled over that also, so he called its name Sitnah. 22.And he moved from there and dug another well, and they did not quarrel over it. So he called its name Rehoboth, saying, “For now the Lord has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land - Genesis 26:14-22
Does it mean, the Trinity God must come as three individual persons to save us? to explain this, God gave Isaac single well at Beersheba, that our Messiah Jesus Christ is one person, but in him all three of them will be dwelt, for that very reason the water spring forth, only after three men Abimelech, Ahuzzath, and Phichol had entered into a covenant with Isaac - 25.So he built an altar there and called upon the name of the Lord and pitched his tent there. And there Isaac's servants dug a well. 26.When Abimelech went to him from Gerar with Ahuzzath his adviser and Phicol the commander of his army, 27.Isaac said to them, “Why have you come to me, seeing that you hate me and have sent me away from you?” 28.They said, “We see plainly that the Lord has been with you. So we said, let there be a sworn pact between us, between you and us, and let us make a covenant with you, 29.that you will do us no harm, just as we have not touched you and have done to you nothing but good and have sent you away in peace. You are now the blessed of the Lord.” 30.So he made them a feast, and they ate and drank. 31.In the morning they rose early and exchanged oaths. And Isaac sent them on their way, and they departed from him in peace. 32.That same day Isaac's servants came and told him about the well that they had dug and said to him, “We have found water.” 33.He called it Shibah; therefore the name of the city is Beersheba to this day - Genesis 26:25-33
Furthermore, the young goat that Judah promised to Tamar signifies Jesus Christ Himself; the three items Tamar requested in exchange for that goat—Judah’s signet ring, cord, and staff—proclaim the Trinity of Jesus Christ. Subsequently, Judah retrieved the signet ring, cord, and staff he had given as a pledge, yet he did not give the promised young goat to Tamar; ultimately, God Himself appeared as the young goat within Tamar’s lineage - 15.When Judah saw her, he thought she was a prostitute, for she had covered her face. 16.He turned to her at the roadside and said, “Come, let me come in to you,” for he did not know that she was his daughter-in-law. She said, “What will you give me, that you may come in to me?” 17.He answered, “I will send you a young goat from the flock.” And she said, “If you give me a pledge, until you send it” 18.He said, “What pledge shall I give you?” She replied, “Your signet and your cord and your staff that is in your hand.” So he gave them to her and went in to her, and she conceived by him. 19.Then she arose and went away, and taking off her veil she put on the garments of her widowhood - Genesis 38:15-19
The Lord said to Moses, I am coming to you in a thick cloud - 9.And the Lord said to Moses, “Behold, I am coming to you in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with you, and may also believe you forever.” When Moses told the words of the people to the Lord, 10.the Lord said to Moses, “Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their garments 11.and be ready for the third day. For on the third day the Lord will come down on Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people - Exodus 19:9-11
When the Lord arrived on the third day, He came not merely with a thick cloud, but accompanied by thunder and lightning, this proclaims the mystery that our Savior, Jesus Christ, is not only the Son of the Word but also the Son of the Father and the Son of the Holy Spirit. Furthermore, while thunder and lightning typically originate from a cloud, here the thunder came first, followed by the lightning, and then the dark cloud; these signify, respectively, the distinctiveness of the Father, the Holy Spirit, and the Word - On the morning of the third day there were thunders and lightnings and a thick cloud on the mountain and a very loud trumpet blast, so that all the people in the camp trembled - Exodus 19:16
Subsequently, as a sign of the tribe of Levi, which had been chosen for priestly service, God commanded that Aaron's name be written on Levi's staff - 1.The Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 2.Speak to the people of Israel, and get from them staffs, one for each fathers' house, from all their chiefs according to their fathers' houses, twelve staffs. Write each man's name on his staff, 3.and write Aaron's name on the staff of Levi. For there shall be one staff for the head of each fathers' house - Numbers 17:1-3
But this Aaron was not only the son of Levi but also the son of Kohath and the son of Amram; likewise, our Lord Jesus Christ is not only the Son of the Word but also the Son of the Father and the Son of the Holy Spirit - 16.These are the names of the sons of Levi according to their generations: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari. And the years of the life of Levi were one hundred and thirty-seven. 17.The sons of Gershon were Libni and Shimi according to their families. 18.And the sons of Kohath were Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel. And the years of the life of Kohath were one hundred and thirty-three. 19.The sons of Merari were Mahli and Mushi. These are the families of Levi according to their generations. 20.Now Amram took for himself Jochebed, his father’s sister, as wife; and she bore him Aaron and Moses. And the years of the life of Amram were one hundred and thirty-seven - Exodus 6:16-20
The Ark of the Covenant also illustrates the Trinity of Jesus Christ; that is why, alongside the tablets of the covenant representing the Word, it contained the golden pot of manna representing the Father and Aaron’s staff that had budded, representing the Holy Spirit - 1.Now even the first covenant had regulations for worship and an earthly place of holiness. 2.For a tent was prepared, the first section, in which were the lampstand and the table and the bread of the Presence. It is called the Holy Place. 3.Behind the second curtain was a second section called the Most Holy Place, 4.having the golden altar of incense and the ark of the covenant covered on all sides with gold, in which was a golden urn holding the manna, and Aaron's staff that budded, and the tablets of the covenant. 5.Above it were the cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy seat. Of these things we cannot now speak in detail - Hebrews 9:1-5
There were two cherubim atop this Ark of the Covenant, the prophet Isaiah referred to them as seraphim and wrote that each possessed six wings, that means three pairs of wings, which implying that each seraph embodied a threefold nature - 1.In the year that King Uzziah died I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up; and the train of his robe filled the temple. 2.Above him stood the seraphim. Each had six wings: with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew - Isaiah 6:1-2
The first Cherub, possessing six wings [three pairs of wings], explaining the Trinity of our Heavenly Father, and Apostle John described it like this - because there are three who are testifying in Heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit, and these three are one - 1 John 5:7
The next Cherub, possessing six wings [three pairs of wings], signifies the Trinity of our Savior Jesus Christ; this is what the Apostle John referred to the Son of the Father [Blood], the Son of the Word [Water], and the Son of the Holy Spirit [Spirit], stating that these three are one and that He is Jesus Christ, the Son of God - and there are three who are testifying in the earth: the Spirit [Holy Spirit], and the water [Word], and the blood [Father] and the three are into the one - 1 John 5:8
In another passage, the prophet Isaiah spoke about our Savior Jesus Christ as three individual person, one will say, another one will call, another one will write - 5.This one will say, ‘I am the Lord's,’ another will call on the name of Jacob, and another will write on his hand, ‘The Lord's,’ and name himself by the name of Israel. Besides Me There Is No God 6.Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts: I am the first and I am the last; besides me there is no god - Isaiah 44:5-6
The children of Israel, whom Moses sent to scout the land of Canaan, brought back a single cluster of grapes along with pomegranates and figs, this signifies the nature of our Lord Jesus Christ, proclaiming that He is not only the Son of the Word [single cluster of grapes], but also the Son of the Father [pomegranates] and the Son of the Holy Spirit [figs] - 21.So they went up and spied out the land from the wilderness of Zin to Rehob, near Lebo-hamath. 22.They went up into the Negeb and came to Hebron. Ahiman, Sheshai, and Talmai, the descendants of Anak, were there. (Hebron was built seven years before Zoan in Egypt.) 22.And they came to the Valley of Eshcol and cut down from there a branch with a single cluster of grapes, and they carried it on a pole between two of them; they also brought some pomegranates and figs. 23.That place was called the Valley of Eshcol, because of the cluster that the people of Israel cut down from there - Numbers 13:21-24
So, what the spies brought is literally referring to our Lord Jesus Christ, that was the Bible tells that they brought Word [Jesus Christ] - 25.At the end of forty days they returned from spying out the land. 26.And they came to Moses and Aaron and to all the congregation of the people of Israel in the wilderness of Paran, at Kadesh. They brought back WORD to them and to all the congregation, and showed them the fruit of the land. 27.And they told him, We came to the land to which you sent us. It flows with milk and honey, and this is its fruit - Numbers 13:25-27
When Moses recollected the same incident in the Book of Deuteronomy, again he mentioned that the spies brought Word [Jesus Christ] with them, signifying the announcement that the Word was to be revealed in the flesh - 21.Look, the Lord your God has set the land before you; go up and possess it, as the Lord God of your fathers has spoken to you; do not fear or be discouraged. 22.And every one of you came near to me and said, ‘Let us send men before us, and let them search out the land for us, and bring back word to us of the way by which we should go up, and of the cities into which we shall come. 22.The plan pleased me well; so I took twelve of your men, one man from each tribe. 24.And they departed and went up into the mountains, and came to the Valley of Eshcol, and spied it out. 25.They also took some of the fruit of the land in their hands and brought it down to us; and they brought back WORD(Jesus Christ) to us, saying, It is a good land which the Lord our God is giving us - Deuteronomy 1:21-25
When Samuel prophesied to Saul, instead of saying Jesus Christ will meet you, he said Three men will meet you, Its basically to revel the Trinity of our Lord Jesus Christ - 1.Then Samuel took a flask of oil and poured it on his head and kissed him and said, “Has not the Lord anointed you to be prince[a] over his people Israel? And you shall reign over the people of the Lord and you will save them from the hand of their surrounding enemies. And this shall be the sign to you that the Lord has anointed you to be prince[b] over his heritage. 2.When you depart from me today, you will meet two men by Rachel's tomb in the territory of Benjamin at Zelzah, and they will say to you, ‘The donkeys that you went to seek are found, and now your father has ceased to care about the donkeys and is anxious about you, saying, What shall I do about my son? 3.Then you shall go on from there farther and come to the oak of Tabor. Three men going up to God at Bethel will meet you there, one carrying three young goats, another carrying three loaves of bread, and another carrying a skin of wine. 4.And they will greet you and give you two loaves of bread, which you shall accept from their hand - I Samuel 10:1-4
What shall I do for my son? Yet, instead of welcoming the promised Jesus Christ, Saul strove to oppose Him, it was only when he lost his three sons that he realized how wrong that was. Only then did he understand the anguish that the death of Jesus Christ causes to God the Father, that is precisely the meaning behind the lament - 1.Now the Philistines were fighting against Israel, and the men of Israel fled before the Philistines and fell slain on Mount Gilboa. 2.And the Philistines overtook Saul and his sons, and the Philistines struck down Jonathan and Abinadab and Malchi-shua, the sons of Saul. 3.The battle pressed hard against Saul, and the archers found him, and he was badly wounded by the archers. 4.Then Saul said to his armor-bearer, “Draw your sword, and thrust me through with it, lest these uncircumcised come and thrust me through, and mistreat me.” But his armor-bearer would not, for he feared greatly. Therefore Saul took his own sword and fell upon it - I Samuel 31:1-4
And being a king for many years and living in the palace, this night is going to be really tough for King David as he has to sleep in the desert land, so the three men appeared and brought all necessary things to comfort King David, who are these three men? They came with different identity because so many people were around King David, but they are the three who met Abraham by the Oaks of Mamre, the Trinity God - 27.When David came to Mahanaim, Shobi the son of Nahash from Rabbah of the Ammonites, and Machir the son of Ammiel from Lo-debar, and Barzillai the Gileadite from Rogelim, 28.brought beds, basins, and earthen vessels, wheat, barley, flour, parched grain, beans and lentils, 29.honey and curds and sheep and cheese from the herd, for David and the people with him to eat, for they said, The people are hungry and weary and thirsty in the wilderness - II Samuel 17:27-29
The encounter with the three men served to confirm that the Lord was with David, that is why David divided his army into three parts and achieved victory in the battle - 1.Then David mustered the men who were with him and set over them commanders of thousands and commanders of hundreds. 2.And David sent out the army, one third under the command of Joab, one third under the command of Abishai the son of Zeruiah, Joab's brother, and one third under the command of Ittai the Gittite. And the king said to the men, “I myself will also go out with you.” 3.But the men said, “You shall not go out. For if we flee, they will not care about us. If half of us die, they will not care about us. But you are worth ten thousand of us. Therefore it is better that you send us help from the city - II Samuel 18:1-3
In the days of King Hezekiah, when the Assyrians besieged Jerusalem, three men—Eliakim, Shebna, and Joah—spoke on behalf of the city, they served as figures foreshadowing the Trinity of Jesus Christ - 13.In the fourteenth year of King Hezekiah, Sennacherib king of Assyria came up against all the fortified cities of Judah and took them. 14.And Hezekiah king of Judah sent to the king of Assyria at Lachish, saying, “I have done wrong; withdraw from me. Whatever you impose on me I will bear.” And the king of Assyria required of Hezekiah king of Judah three hundred talents of silver and thirty talents of gold. 15.And Hezekiah gave him all the silver that was found in the house of the Lord and in the treasuries of the king's house. 16.At that time Hezekiah stripped the gold from the doors of the temple of the Lord and from the doorposts that Hezekiah king of Judah had overlaid and gave it to the king of Assyria. 17.And the king of Assyria sent the Tartan, the Rab-saris, and the Rabshakeh with a great army from Lachish to King Hezekiah at Jerusalem. And they went up and came to Jerusalem. When they arrived, they came and stood by the conduit of the upper pool, which is on the highway to the Washer's Field. 18.And when they called for the king, there came out to them Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, who was over the household, and Shebnah the secretary, and Joah the son of Asaph, the recorder. 19.And the Rabshakeh said to them, “Say to Hezekiah, ‘Thus says the great king, the king of Assyria: On what do you rest this trust of yours? - II Kings 18:13-19
Furthermore, only three men were sent to convey the message to the prophet Isaiah, they, too, served as figures foreshadowing the Trinity of our Savior, Jesus Christ - 1.As soon as King Hezekiah heard it, he tore his clothes and covered himself with sackcloth and went into the house of the Lord. 2.And he sent Eliakim, who was over the household, and Shebna the secretary, and the senior priests, covered with sackcloth, to the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz. 3.They said to him, “Thus says Hezekiah, This day is a day of distress, of rebuke, and of disgrace; children have come to the point of birth, and there is no strength to bring them forth. 4.It may be that the Lord your God heard all the words of the Rabshakeh, whom his master the king of Assyria has sent to mock the living God, and will rebuke the words that the Lord your God has heard; therefore lift up your prayer for the remnant that is left.” 5.When the servants of King Hezekiah came to Isaiah - II Kings 19:1-5
Thus, it is only because the Son of the Word—who is also the Son of the Father dwelling within Him and the Son of the Holy Spirit—tasted death for our sake, that the Prophet Isaiah described the salvation gained through the crucifixion of Jesus Christ as a "rich feast," noting that it comprises three distinct elements: feast of well-aged wine, rich and rich food full of marrow, and aged wine well refined - 6.On this mountain the Lord of hosts will make for all peoples a feast of rich food, a feast of well-aged wine, of rich food full of marrow, of aged wine well refined. 7.And he will swallow up on this mountain the covering that is cast over all peoples, the veil that is spread over all nations. 8.He will swallow up death forever; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces, and the reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, for the Lord has spoken. 9.It will be said on that day, “Behold, this is our God; we have waited for him, that he might save us. This is the Lord; we have waited for him; let us be glad and rejoice in his salvation - Isaiah 25:6-9
In the Holy Bible, many prophets have spoken about the Trinity of Jesus Christ, and prophet Elisha explained with distinct sounds: the sound of chariots, the sound of horses, and the sound of a vast army - 1.But Elisha said, “Hear the word of the Lord: thus says the Lord, Tomorrow about this time a seah of fine flour shall be sold for a shekel, and two seahs of barley for a shekel, at the gate of Samaria.” 2.Then the captain on whose hand the king leaned said to the man of God, “If the Lord himself should make windows in heaven, could this thing be?” But he said, “You shall see it with your own eyes, but you shall not eat of it.” 3.Now there were four men who were lepers at the entrance to the gate. And they said to one another, “Why are we sitting here until we die? 4.If we say, ‘Let us enter the city,’ the famine is in the city, and we shall die there. And if we sit here, we die also. So now come, let us go over to the camp of the Syrians. If they spare our lives we shall live, and if they kill us we shall but die.” 5.So they arose at twilight to go to the camp of the Syrians. But when they came to the edge of the camp of the Syrians, behold, there was no one there. 6.For the Lord had made the host of the Syrians to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, even the noise of a great host: and they said one to another, Lo, the king of Israel hath hired against us the kings of the Hittites, and the kings of the Egyptians, to come upon us 7.So they fled away in the twilight and abandoned their tents, their horses, and their donkeys, leaving the camp as it was, and fled for their lives. 8.And when these lepers came to the edge of the camp, they went into a tent and ate and drank, and they carried off silver and gold and clothing and went and hid them. Then they came back and entered another tent and carried off things from it and went and hid them. 9.Then they said to one another, “We are not doing right. This day is a day of good news. If we are silent and wait until the morning light, punishment will overtake us. Now therefore come; let us go and tell the king's household - 2 Kings 7:1-9
And prophet Joel also explained the Trinity of Jesus Christ with three types of noise "like chariots they leap over the mountaintops", "like a crackling fire consuming stubble", "like a mighty army drawn up for battle" - 1.Blow a trumpet in Zion; sound an alarm on my holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble, for the day of the Lord is coming; it is near, 2.a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and thick darkness! Like blackness there is spread upon the mountains a great and powerful people; their like has never been before, nor will be again after them through the years of all generations. 3.Fire devours before them, and behind them a flame burns. The land is like the garden of Eden before them, but behind them a desolate wilderness, and nothing escapes them. 4.Their appearance is like the appearance of horses, and like war horses they run. 5.With a noise like that of chariots they leap over the mountaintops, like a crackling fire consuming stubble, like a mighty army drawn up for battle - Joel 2:1-5
In his prophecy, when speaking of the Lord Jesus Christ, Joel mentions blood, fire, and pillars of smoke, thereby illustrating the Trinity of Jesus Christ - 30.And I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and columns of smoke. 31.The sun shall be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood, before the great and awesome day of the Lord comes. 32.And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be those who escape, as the Lord has said, and among the survivors shall be those whom the Lord calls - Joel 2:30-32
In his very first sermon, the Apostle Peter recalled Joel's prophecy and wrote about the Trinity of Jesus Christ as follows - 16.But this is what was uttered through the prophet Joel: 17.And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams; 18.even on my male servants and female servants in those days I will pour out my Spirit, and they shall prophesy. 19.And I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke. 20.the sun shall be turned to darkness and the moon to blood, before the day of the Lord comes, the great and magnificent day. 21.And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved - Acts 2:16-21
The Old Testament, concluding with the prophecy of Malachi, speaks thus regarding the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ and the ministry of John the Baptist - Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the great and awesome day of the Lord comes. And he will turn the hearts of fathers to their children, and the hearts of children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the land with a decree of utter destruction - Malachi 4:5-6
What a tremendous privilege it is that Heaven itself has explained the meaning of the words spoken regarding John the Baptist: "he will turn the hearts of fathers to their children, and the hearts of children to their fathers" - 13.But the angel said to him, Do not be afraid, Zechariah, for your prayer has been heard, and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John. 14.And you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth, 15.for he will be great before the Lord. And he must not drink wine or strong drink, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother's womb. 16.And he will turn many of the children of Israel to the Lord their God, 17.and he will go before him in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready for the Lord a people prepared - Luke 1:13-17
Here the word "Children" was interpreted as Disobedient (Sinful Man), But the plural word "Fathers" was interpreted as "Wisdom of the Just" [Jesus Christ], why Prophet Malachi used plural word "Fathers" in the prophecy? because our Jesus Christ is God of Trinity, and we can see Father, Word and Holy Spirit in Jesus Christ.
