Previous Chapter: Who is Simon of Cyrene?
Moses, who demonstrated the redemption of the cross, did not he broke two tablets of testimony? which itself suggests that the Father must have to suffer with the Son Jesus Christ - 15.Then Moses turned and went down from the mountain with the two tablets of the testimony in his hand, tablets that were written on both sides; on the front and on the back they were written. 16.The tablets were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God, engraved on the tablets. 17.When Joshua heard the noise of the people as they shouted, he said to Moses, There is a noise of war in the camp. 18.But he said, It is not the sound of shouting for victory, or the sound of the cry of defeat, but the sound of singing that I hear. 19.And as soon as he came near the camp and saw the calf and the dancing, Moses' anger burned hot, and he threw the tablets out of his hands and broke them at the foot of the mountain. 20.He took the calf that they had made and burned it with fire and ground it to powder and scattered it on the water and made the people of Israel drink it - Exodus 32:15-20
And prophet Joel who spoke about the redemption of the cross, said this "The Sun shall be turned to darkness and the Moon to blood" - 16.But this is what was uttered through the prophet Joel: 17.And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams; 18.even on my male servants and female servants in those days I will pour out my Spirit, and they shall prophesy. 19.And I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke; 20.the sun shall be turned to darkness and the moon to blood, before the day of the Lord comes, the great and magnificent day. 21.And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved - Acts 2:16-21
Whom the Sun and Moon are representing, the prophecy of "The Sun shall be turned to darkness" was fulfilled like this - 44.Now it was about the sixth hour, and there was darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour. 45.Then the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was torn in two. 46.And when Jesus had cried out with a loud voice, He said, Father, into Your hands I commit My spirit. Having said this, He breathed His last - Luke 23:44-46
Then why Bible did not say anything about "Moon turning into blood"? because "Moon turning into blood" is a prophecy of Jesus Christ, which everyone saw the fulfillment on the cross, at the same time "Sun shall be turned to darkness" is a prophecy of Heavenly Father, which no one could see except Christ and the beloved disciple John, that was the reason the Sun turned into darkness and expressed the suffering of our Heavenly Father.
