Previous Chapter: Mother of Jesus in the Book of John
The same Book of John, which portrait "Heavenly God" as "Mother of Jesus", finishes its first chapter with the promise that disciples would see heavenly Angels[Mother of Jesus] - 49.Nathanael answered and said to Him, Rabbi, You are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel! 50.Jesus answered and said to him, Because I said to you, I saw you under the fig tree, do you believe? You will see greater things than these. 51.And He said to him, Most assuredly, I say to you, hereafter you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man - John 1:49-51
When Christ said "Hereafter you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man", he is talking about seeing the Heavenly Father, because Christ came to revel the Father not any human being or any other creature - No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten God, who is in the bosom[the front of the body between the arms] of the Father, He has revealed Him - John 1:18
When Bible says Angel of God, it is referring God of Heaven itself, and that is what happened in Jacob's life also, first Jacob thought he is talking to the "Angel of God", but actually it was God himself - 11.Then the Angel of God spoke to me in a dream, saying, Jacob. And I said, Here I am. 12.And He said, Lift your eyes now and see, all the rams which leap on the flocks are streaked, speckled, and gray-spotted; for I have seen all that Laban is doing to you. 13.I am the God of Bethel, where you anointed the pillar and where you made a vow to Me. Now arise, get out of this land, and return to the land of your family - Genesis 31:11-13
for example, As a friend of the Prince, I will have a privilege to meet the King who lives in the palace, but to meet the gate keeper of the palace we need not to be a friend of the Prince. like that, the Son of God came to revel the Heavenly Father, not something he created(angels).
