Do not touch Me

The old testament says that every day we need to touch the altar to be cleansed, blessed and healed, and the great alter is none other than our Lord Jesus Christ himself - 36.Every day you shall offer the bull of sin offering for atonement. You shall cleanse the altar when you make atonement for it. You shall anoint it, to sanctify it. 37.Seven days you shall make atonement for the altar, and sanctify it; and the altar shall be most holy. Whatever touches the altar shall be holy - Exodus 29:36-37  

But one day the Alter told to the woman "Do not Touch Me" - 15.Jesus says to her, Woman, why do you weep? Whom do you seek? Thinking that it is the gardener, she says to Him, Sir, if you have carried Him off, tell me where you have laid Him, and I will take Him away. 16.Jesus says to her, Mary. Having turned around, she says to Him in Hebrew, Rabboni, that is to say, Teacher. 17.Jesus says to her, Do not touch Me, for not yet have I ascended to the Father. Now go to My brothers and say to them, I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God - John 20:15-17

When the old testament rule says that we need to touch him to be healed, how come the Alter say "Do not Touch Me"? And this is how our Sunday class teacher explained to us, One Sunday he brought two tray full of grilled chicken, on top of one tray there was a written note "Do not touch", and top of another tray it was written little differently "Do not touch, It's hot", when no one could explain the difference, a small boy said the second tray is for us and we can eat at safe temperature, like that our Lord did not say "Do not touch Me" but "Do not touch Me, I am not ascended to Father yet", so basically what Christ said its an invitation to touch him, that we can touch him even after he ascended into heaven. 

When Christ anger kindled against the cities of the coastal area including Capernaum the very city that he lived, how come the city of Gennesaret escaped? - 13.Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes. 14.But it will be more bearable in the judgment for Tyre and Sidon than for you. 15.And you, Capernaum, will you be exalted to heaven? You shall be brought down to Hades - Luke 10:13-14

The people of Gennesaret did one thing differently, they touched the Alter with full of faith and became a testimony of Christ's love towards us - 34.When they had crossed over, they came to land at Gennesaret. 35.And when the men of that place recognized Him, they sent word into all that surrounding region and brought to Him all who were sick; 36.and they pleaded with Him that they might just touch the border of His cloak; and all who touched it were cured - Matthew 14:34-36

அது மாத்திரம் இல்லாமல், ஒரு குஷ்டரோகியை தோடுகிற எந்த மனஷனும் தீட்டுபட்டவனாக மாறும் சூழ்நிலையில், இயேசு கிறிஸ்து குஷ்டரோகியை தொட்டு அவனை சுகப்படுத்தி தான் தேவன் என்பதை நிரூபித்தார், இப்படி தீட்டுள்ளவர்களையும் தொட வல்லமையுள்ள தேவன் மகதலேனா மரியாளிடம் "என்னைத் தொடாதே" என்று சொன்னதின் அர்த்தம் தான் என்ன? - 40.அப்பொழுது குஷ்டரோகி ஒருவன் அவரிடத்தில் வந்து, அவர் முன்பாக முழங்கால்படியிட்டு: உமக்குச் சித்தமானால் என்னைச் சுத்தமாக்க உம்மால் ஆகும் என்று வேண்டிக்கொண்டான். 41.இயேசு மனதுருகி, கையை நீட்டி, அவனைத் தொட்டு: எனக்குச் சித்தமுண்டு, சுத்தமாகு என்றார். 42.இப்படி அவர் சொன்னவுடனே, குஷ்டரோகம் அவனை விட்டு நீங்கிற்று, அவன் சுத்தமானான் - மாற்கு 1:40-42

செத்துப்போனவனுடைய பிரேதத்தைத் தொட்டவன் ஏழுநாள் தீட்டுப்பட்டிருப்பான் - எண்ணாகமம் 19:11 

அல்லது எந்த அசுத்தத்தினாலாகிலும் தீட்டுப்பட்ட ஒரு மனிதனை ஒருவன் அறியாமல் தொட்டு, பின்பு அதை அறிந்துகொண்டால், அவன் குற்றமுள்ளவனாவான் - லேவியராகமம் 5:3

அது மாத்திரம் இல்லாமல், நம் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவை யார் வேண்டுமானாலும் தொடலாம் என்பதை  கெனேசரேத்து நாட்டில் நிரூபித்தார் - 34.பின்பு, அவர்கள் கடலைக் கடந்து, கெனேசரேத்து நாட்டில் சேர்ந்தார்கள். 35.அவ்விடத்து மனுஷர் அவரை இன்னார் என்று அறிந்து, சுற்றுப்புறமெங்கும் செய்தி அனுப்பி, பிணியாளிகளெல்லாரையும் அவரிடத்தில் கொண்டுவந்து, 36.அவருடைய வஸ்திரத்தின் ஓரத்தையாகிலும் அவர்கள் தொடும்படி உத்தரவாகவேண்டுமென்று அவரை வேண்டிக்கொண்டார்கள்; தொட்ட யாவரும் சொஸ்தமானார்கள் - மத்தேயு 14:34-36


இப்படி பட்ட தேவன் மகதலேனா மரியாளிடம் "என்னைத் தொடாதே, நான் இன்னும் என் பிதாவினிடத்திற்கு ஏறிப்போகவில்லை" என்று சொன்னதன் நோக்கம் என்னவென்றால், அவர் பிதாவினிடத்திற்கு ஏறிப்போன பின்பும், அதாவது பரலோகத்திற்கு சென்ற பின்பும் நாம் அவரை தொட முடியும் என்பதை உணர்த்துவதற்காகத் தான் - இயேசு அவளை நோக்கி: என்னைத் தொடாதே, நான் இன்னும் என் பிதாவினிடத்திற்கு ஏறிப்போகவில்லை; நீ என் சகோதரரிடத்திற்குப் போய், நான் என் பிதாவினிடத்திற்கும் உங்கள் பிதாவினிடத்திற்கும், என் தேவனிடத்திற்கும் உங்கள் தேவனிடத்திற்கும் ஏறிப்போகிறேன் என்று அவர்களுக்குச் சொல்லு என்றார் - யோவான் 20:17

அது மாத்திரம் இல்லாமல், நம் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து நேற்றும் இன்றும் என்றும் மாறாதவராயிருக்கிறார், அவர் பூமியில் இருக்கும் பொழுது கெனேசரேத்து நாட்டை சேர்ந்த பிணியாளிகளெல்லாரும் தொட்டு சுகம் பெற முடியும் என்றால்,  பரலோகத்தில் இருக்கும் அவரை நாம் தொட்டு சுகம் பெற முடியும் என்பதில் எந்த மாற்று கருத்தும் இல்லை, நமக்காக தன் ஜீவனையே தந்த இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவை விசுவாசத்தோடு தொடுவோம், பரிபூரண சுகம் பெறுவோம்  - இயேசுகிறிஸ்து நேற்றும் இன்றும் என்றும் மாறாதவராயிருக்கிறார் - எபிரெயர் 13:8


என்னைத் தொட்டுப்பாருங்கள்

மரித்து உயிர்தெழுந்த இயேசு கிறிஸ்து, மாம்சமும் எலும்புகளும் உள்ள சரீரம் உள்ளவராகவும், நாம் தொடக்கூடிய  தேவனாகவும் இருக்கிறார் என்று வேதாகமம் சொல்லுகிறது - 36.இவைகளைக்குறித்து அவர்கள் பேசிக்கொண்டிருக்கையில், இயேசு தாமே அவர்கள் நடுவிலே நின்று: உங்களுக்குச் சமாதானம் என்றார். 37.அவர்கள் கலங்கி, பயந்து, ஒரு ஆவியைக் காண்கிறதாக நினைத்தார்கள். 38.அவர் அவர்களை நோக்கி: நீங்கள் ஏன் கலங்குகிறீர்கள்; உங்கள் இருதயங்களில் சந்தேகங்கள் எழும்புகிறதென்ன? 39.நான்தான் என்று அறியும்படி, என் கைகளையும் என் கால்களையும் பாருங்கள், என்னைத் தொட்டுப்பாருங்கள்; நீங்கள் காண்கிறபடி, எனக்கு மாம்சமும் எலும்புகளும் உண்டாயிருக்கிறதுபோல ஒரு ஆவிக்கு இராதே என்று சொல்லி, 40.தம்முடைய கைகளையும் கால்களையும் அவர்களுக்குக் காண்பித்தார் - லூக்கா 24:36-40 

மரித்து உயிர்தெழுந்த பின்பு தன் கைகளையும் கால்களையும் தன் சீஷர்களிடம் காண்பித்த இயேசு கிறிஸ்து, ஏன் தன்னை தொட்டுப்பார்க்க சொன்னார்? ஒரு பொருளை பார்த்து ஊர்ஜிதம் செய்ய முடியாத சூழ்நிலையில் தொட்டு பரிசோதித்து ஊர்ஜிதம் செய்வது வழக்கம், உதாரணத்திற்கு ஒரு சூடான பொருளை தொட்டு பார்த்து தான் உறுதி செய்ய முடியும், இப்பொழுது சீஷர்கள் முன்பு நிற்பதோ தேவாதி தேவனாகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து, அவர் இந்த பூமியில் இருந்த பொழுது மக்கள் அவரை தொட்டு சுகம் பெற்று செல்வது வழக்கம், இதை சீஷர்களும் நன்றாய் அறிந்திருந்தார்கள், அப்படியேன்றால் அவரை தொடும் பொழுது நம் சரீரத்தில் ஏற்படும் நல்ல மாற்றத்தை கொண்டு நாம் தொடுவது இயேசு கிறிஸ்து என்பதை அறிந்துக் கொள்ளலாம்.
