My witness is True
Jesus Christ is the Son of the Father, Son of the Word, and Son of the Holy Spirit
Jesus Christ is the Son of the Father, Son of the Word, and Son of the Holy Spirit
Previous Chapter: I am "Gods"
According to the Law of the Lord, single witness is not sufficient to confirm any matter, there must be two or three witnesses, so that the matter can be accepted - A matter must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses - Deuteronomy 19:15, and Christ himself spoke about this law during his ministry - take one or two others along with you, that every charge may be established by the evidence of two or three witnesses - Matthew 18:16
And when Christ said I am the Messiah, and the Pharisees took same Law of the Lord and said, Single witness is not true, so we no need to accept your testimony - 12.Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life. 13.The Pharisees therefore said to Him, You bear witness of Yourself; Your witness is not true - John 8:12-13
but Christ said, my testimony is "true", how come Christ's testimony can be true, as the law says one person testimony should not be accepted? that's because, Jesus Christ is not just the Son of the Word alone, the Son of the Father, and the Son of the Holy Spirit also with him, but the world did not accept Christ's trinity and crucified him - Jesus answered and said to them, Even if I bear witness of Myself, My witness is true, for I know where I came from and where I am going; but you do not know where I come from and where I am going - John 8:14
when people do a favor to someone, they will talk about it when the opportunity arises, or seek glory, or gain something out of it, will any father or mother seek glory for feeding their child? In the same way, the Son of the Father and the Son of the Holy Spirit never said anything about sufferings they suffered on the cross, because of necessity, only the Son of the Word spoke about his suffering, but in parables Christ spoke many thing about the Son of the Father and the Son of the Holy Spirit, that we will see in this article.
The angel who came Mary to announce the birth of the Messiah, he said, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you", indicating that Jesus would be the "Son of the Holy Spirit", and then he said, "the power of the Most High will overshadow you", indicating that Jesus would be the Son of the Father as well, and than Mary said, "Let it be done to me according to your word," and confirmed that Christ will be the "Son of the Word" as well - 34.And Mary said to the angel, “How will this be, since I am a virgin?” 35.And the angel answered her, The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the Power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy-the Son of God. 36.And behold, your relative Elizabeth in her old age has also conceived a son, and this is the sixth month with her who was called barren. 37.For nothing will be impossible with God. 38.And Mary said, Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your Word. And the angel departed from her - Luke 1:34-38
Thus, because the Son of the Father and the Son of the Holy Spirit also born along with Son of the Word, the Magi brought three gifts, gold, frankincense, and myrrh - And going into the house, they saw the child with Mary his mother, and they fell down and worshiped him[Jesus]. Then, opening their treasures, they offered him gifts, gold and frankincense and myrrh - Matthew 2:11
That was the reason, king Solomon expected the Messiah with personality and wrote like this - Who is this coming out of the wilderness Like pillars of smoke, Perfumed with myrrh and frankincense, With all the merchant’s fragrant powders? - Song of Solomon 3:6
So, everyone expected the Messiah with three great personality, so they asked John the Baptist these three questions? Why then do you baptize if you are not the Christ [the Son of the Word]? nor Elijah [the Son of the Holy Spirit]? nor the Prophet [the Son of the Father]? - They asked him, Then why are you baptizing, if you are neither the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet? - John 1:25
but the Spirit filled John responded and revealed the three identity of Jesus Christ and said, “One among you whom you do not know" indicating that Jesus is the "Son of the Holy Spirit", and then he said "It is He who, coming after me, is preferred before me" indicating that Jesus is the Son of the Father as well, and the he said "whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose” indicating that Jesus is the Son of the Word 26.John answered them, saying, I baptize with water, but there stands One among you whom you do not know. 27.It is He who, coming after me, is preferred before me, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose. 28.These things were done in [b]Bethabara beyond the Jordan, where John was baptizing. - John 1:26-28
Why did John baptize on the other side of the Jordan? Because God told to Joshua that when these three priests, that is Jesus Christ, must put his feet on the water from the other side of the Jordan, that will be the beginning of the outpouring of Holy Spirit - When the soles of the feet of the priests bearing the ark of the Lord, the Lord of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan shall be cut off from flowing, and the waters coming down from above shall stand in one heap - Joshua 3:13
When Matthew wrote about Christ's trinity, He took Isaiah's prophecy for reference, he mentioned the Son of the Word as "My servant whom I have chosen", and the Son of the Father as "My beloved with whom my soul is well pleased" and the Son of the Holy Spirit as "I will put my Spirit upon him" - 17.This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah: 18.Behold, My servant whom I have chosen, My beloved with whom my soul is well pleased. I will put my Spirit upon him, and he will proclaim justice to the Gentiles. 19.He will not quarrel or cry aloud, nor will anyone hear his voice in the streets; 20.a bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not quench, until he brings justice to victory; 21.and in his name the Gentiles will hope - Matthew 12:17-21
This is why the Lord said - now they have seen and hated both Me and my Father - John 15:23-24, that's because the Son of the Father is dwelling in Christ Jesus, in the same way whoever hates the Lord Jesus Christ also hates the Holy Spirit - And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this world or in the world to come - Matthew 12:32
This can be easily understood with a simple example, a king said to his opponents, "Until yesterday you were an enemy of a citizen, but from today you are an enemy of the king himself" Yes, until yesterday he was a citizen, but today he has been crowned as king, similarly, Jesus Christ was also anointed by the Holy Spirit. So speaking against Jesus Christ means speaking against the Holy Spirit.
When the adulterous woman found refuge in Christ, the Bible says, "Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst" How could this be? it's written to declare the supreme mystery that the woman found refuge among the three, the Son of the Word, Son of the Father and Son of the Holy Spirit - 1.But Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. 2.Now early in the morning He came again into the temple, and all the people came to Him; and He sat down and taught them. 3.Then the scribes and Pharisees brought to Him a woman caught in adultery. And when they had set her in the midst, 4.they said to Him, “Teacher, this woman was caught in adultery, in the very act. 5.Now Moses, in the law, commanded us that such should be stoned. But what do You say?” 6.This they said, testing Him, that they might have something of which to accuse Him. But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with His finger, as though He did not hear. 7.So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.” 8.And again He stooped down and wrote on the ground. 9.Then those who heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning with the oldest even to the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. 10.When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?” 11.She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said to her, "Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more" - John 8:1-11
Again Bible declares the Trinity of Jesus Christ, that the paralytic was brought down to the midst of Jesus Christ, that is, the paralytic was brought down to the midst of the son of the Father, son of the Word, and the sons of the Holy Spirit - 18.And behold, some men were bringing on a bed a man who was paralyzed, and they were seeking to bring him in and lay him before Jesus, 19.but finding no way to bring him in, because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and let him down with his bed through the tiles into the midst before Jesus. 20.And when he saw their faith, he said, Man, your sins are forgiven you - Luke 5:18-20
That is why Jesus Christ told the man with the withered hand to stand in the middle, that is, to stand between the Son of the Father, the Son of the Word, and the Son of the Holy Spirit, and he stood in the middle and got healed - 1.Jesus entered again into the synagogue, and there was there a man whose hand was withered. 2.And they watched him if he would heal him on the sabbath, that they might accuse him. 2.And he said to the man whose hand was withered, Stand up in the midst. 4.Then he said to them also, Is it lawful to do good or evil on the sabbath, to save a life or to destroy it? But they were silent. 5.And he looked at them with anger, sad because of the hardness of their hearts; and he said to the man, Stretch out your hand, and he stretched it out; and his hand was restored. 6.Then the Pharisees went out and immediately plotted with the Herodians against Him, how they might destroy Him - Mark 3:1-6
Thus our Savior Jesus Christ, being the Son of the Word, the Son of the Father, and the Son of the Holy Spirit, the Lord compared Himself to three loaves of bread In this parable - 5.And he said to them, Which of you who has a friend will go to him at midnight and say to him, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves, 6.for a friend of mine has arrived on a journey, and I have nothing to set before him - Luke 11:5-6 Continuing the same parable, What did Christ say about the Man inside the home? - 7.and he will answer from within, ‘Do not bother me; the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed. I cannot get up and give you anything’? 8.I tell you, though he will not get up and give him anything because he is his friend, yet because of his impudence he will rise and give him whatever he needs - Luke 11:7-8 Is the Man inside the home was staying with three loaves of bread, so that he can offer what his friend was asking? No, the Man was staying with his "Children", So the moral of this parable is the Heavenly Father would give his three Children[Jesus Christ] to those who ask Him, If we do not understand Christ's trinity, the whole parable will be meaningless.
Jesus Christ compared Himself to the three loaves to that explain the Son of the Father, the Son of the Word, and the Son of the Holy Spirit all three came for our salvation, and in the same time each one of them has their own identity, to explain that Christ said I am the way, and the truth, and the life - 5.Thomas said to him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?” 6.Jesus said to him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7.If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.” - John 14:5-7, And in the same Chapter, Christ mentioned clearly that He is the Son of the Father - 8.Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.” 9.Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10.Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells in me does his works. 11.Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father is in me, or else believe on account of the works themselves - John 14:8-11, And then Christ explained that He is the Son of the Holy Spirit as well - 17.even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you. 18.I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you - John 14:17-18
And Christ said this to his disciple while sending out to share the Gospel - 40.Whoever receives you receives me, and whoever receives me receives him who sent me - Matthew 10:40 the message is very clear that we can become a Children of God through Jesus Christ alone, but why did Christ further said these things? 41.He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward. And he who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward. 42.And whoever gives one of these little ones only a cup of cold water in the name of a disciple, assuredly, I say to you, he shall by no means lose his reward - Matthew 10:40-42
Is it to emphasis the identity of his disciple? No, not at all, the primary purpose of Christ saying is to explain his three unique identity, when Christ said "In the name of a prophet," "In the name of a righteous man," and "In the name of a disciple," He is revealing that he is the Son of the Father, the Son of the Word, and the Son of the Holy Spirit.
If it is to emphasis the spiritual blessing of disciples, Christ would not said this to his disciples - 8.But you, do not be called Rabbi, for One is your Teacher, the Christ, and you are all brethren. 9.Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven. 10.And do not be called teachers; for One is your Teacher, the Christ. 11.But he who is greatest among you shall be your servant. 12.And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted - Matthew 23:8-12
Even while saying this to his disciples, Christ took three Heavenly characters and revealed that He is the Son of the Word who came as Rabbi, He is the Son of the Father, and He is the Son of the Holy Spirit[Teachers] who can fill everyone those who ask him.
Further speaking to His disciples, Christ openly spoke about the eternal life and said "My kingdom" - 28.But you are those who have continued with Me in My trials. 29.And I bestow upon you a kingdom, just as My Father bestowed one upon Me, 30.that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel - Luke 22:28-30 But when Christ spoke to the unbelievers, instead of saying "My kingdom", He spoke about the kingdom with three important Characters that is Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - I tell you, many will come from east and west and recline at table with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven - Matthew 8:11
If what the Lord said, is really referring to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, how would Sarah, the wife of Abraham would take this promise? Didn't Sarah see Abraham and Isaac on this earth if self? How Enoch, Abraham's ancestor, would take this promise? Aren't Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob all three of them his grandchildren? Here Lord's metaphorically used Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob to explain His Trinity, that He is the Son of the Father, the Son of the Word, and the Son of the Holy Spirit.
Why did Jesus Christ told to Martha "One thing is needed"? - 38.Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. 39. And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at [a]Jesus’ feet and heard His word. 40.But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me. 41. And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. 42.But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her - Luke 10:38-42
If Jesus Christ had been only the second person in the Trinity God, he must have told to Martha that you should seek me for forgiveness, and after my resurrection, you should seek the Holy Spirit, and then should seek the Father, but the reason Christ said "One thing is needed" is Christ is our everything, He is the Son of the Father, the Son of the Word, and the Son of the Holy Spirit.
The reason Lord said to Peter "You will deny me three times", that's because the peter is going to deny the Son of the Father, the Son of the Word, and the Son of the Holy Spirit 55.Now when they had kindled a fire in the midst of the courtyard and sat down together, Peter sat among them. 56.And a certain servant girl, seeing him as he sat by the fire, looked intently at him and said, “This man was also with Him. 57.But he denied Him, saying, Woman, I do not know Him. 58.And after a little while another saw him and said, “You also are of them. But Peter said, “Man, I am not!” 59.Then after about an hour had passed, another confidently affirmed, saying, “Surely this fellow also was with Him, for he is a Galilean.” 60.But Peter said, “Man, I do not know what you are saying!” Immediately, while he was still speaking, the rooster crowed. 61.And the Lord turned and looked at Peter. Then Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how He had said to him, “Before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.” 62.So Peter went out and wept bitterly - Luke 22:55-62
And then Bible recorded very unique information, that before going to the cross, Christ repeated the same prayer three times at the garden of Gethsemane, Why Bible its recorded in the Bible? that to reveal that our Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of the Father, the Son of the Word, and the Son of the Holy Spirit, and each one of them prayed earnestly because they never separated from the Heavenly Father - 36.Then Jesus went with them to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to his disciples, “Sit here, while I go over there and pray.” 37.And taking with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, he began to be sorrowful and troubled. 38.Then he said to them, “My soul is very sorrowful, even to death; remain here, and watch with me.” 39.And going a little farther he fell on his face and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will.” 40.And he came to the disciples and found them sleeping. And he said to Peter, “So, could you not watch with me one hour? 41.Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” 42.Again, for the second time, he went away and prayed, “My Father, if this cannot pass unless I drink it, your will be done.” 43.And again he came and found them sleeping, for their eyes were heavy. 44.So, leaving them again, he went away and prayed for the third time, saying the same words again - Matthew 26:36-44
Again Bible recorded very unique information that Pilate declared three times that I have found in him no guilt on Jesus Christ, why Pilate has to declare three times? basically Pilate declared that the Son of the Father, and the Son of the Word, and the Son of the Holy Spirit all three of them are Sinless[spotless] - 20.Pilate addressed them once more, desiring to release Jesus, 21.but they kept shouting, “Crucify, crucify him!” 22.A third time he said to them, “Why? What evil has he done? I have found in him no guilt deserving death - Luke 23:20-22
But they all three off them punished for our transgression, that was the reason Apostle John wrote He was crucified with two others - 17.and He went out, bearing his own cross, to the place called The Place of a Skull, which in Aramaic is called Golgotha. 18.where they crucified him, and with him two others, on this side, and on that side, and Jesus in the midst - John 19:17-18
Since two thieves also crucified with Jesus, our mind goes behind those thieves, but here Apostle John is not talking about the thieves, but Christ alone, and this same passage can be read in two ways, the worldly meaning is Jesus was crucified with two earthly men obviously with two thieves, and the Heavenly meaning is the Son of the Word was crucified with the Son of the Father and the Son of the Holy Spirit, so the correct translation of the Greek manuscript is - where they crucified him, and with him two others, on this side, and on that side, and in the midst, that is Jesus.
Moreover, because all three, the Son of the Father, the Son of the Word, and the Son of the Holy Spirit, suffered for our salvation, it was written on the cross three times "Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews", but in different language - 19.Pilate also wrote an inscription and put it on the cross. It read, Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews. 20.Many of the Jews read this inscription, for the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city, and it was written in Aramaic, in Latin, and in Greek - John 19:19-20
The curtain of the temple is actullay representing Jesus Christ and his Trinity, that was the reason, the curtain was made with three unique color threads - For the entrance of the Tent make a curtain of fine linen woven with blue, purple, and red wool and decorated with embroidery - Exodus 26:36-37
So, when Christ gave his life, the curtain of the temple which represents the trinity of Jesus Christ torn into two - 37.Jesus cried out with a loud voice, and breathed His last. 38.And the curtain of the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom - Mark 15:37-38
How the resurrected Jesus Christ showed himself to Mary Magdalene? did not Mary Magdalene saw three of them in tomb? - 11.But Mary stood weeping outside the tomb, and as she wept she stooped to look into the tomb. 12.And she saw two angels in white, sitting where the body of Jesus had lain, one at the head and one at the feet. 13.They said to her, Woman, why are you weeping? She said to them, They have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid him. 14.Having said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing, but she did not know that it was Jesus - John 20:11-14
How the Jesus Christ showed revealed himself to disciples? who are the "two other men" sitting with disciples before they saw Jesus? its a same person that Mary Magdalene saw at the tomb as angels, the Son of the Father and the Son of the Holy Spirit who died along with Son of the Word and rose again - 1. After this Jesus revealed himself again to the disciples by the Sea of Tiberias, and he revealed himself in this way. 2.Simon Peter, Thomas called the Twin, Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two others of his disciples were together. 3.Simon Peter said to them, I am going fishing. They said to him, We will go with you. They went out and got into the boat, but that night they caught nothing. 4.Just as day was breaking, Jesus stood on the shore; yet the disciples did not know that it was Jesus - John 21:1-4
Why Lord asked Peter three times, “Do you love me?”, because once Peter denied all three of them, the Son of the Father, the Son of the Word, and the Son of the Holy Spirit, and now each one of them individually asked “Do you love me?” - 15.When they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these? He said to him, Yes, Lord; you know that I love you. He said to him, Feed my lambs. 16.He said to him a second time, Simon, son of John, do you love me? He said to him, Yes, Lord; you know that I love you. He said to him, Tend my sheep. 17.He said to him the third time, Simon, son of John, do you love me? Peter was grieved because he said to him the third time, Do you love me? and he said to him, Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you. Jesus said to him, Feed my sheep - John 21:15-17
Finally, when the Son of the Word ascended into heaven, he left the Son of the Father[Grace] and the Son of the Holy Spirit[Truth] to be with us, and the disciples saw them like this - 9.Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. 10.And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, 11.who also said, Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven - Acts 1:9-11
In this parable, they are referred as two denarii, they are also called as Grace and Truth in other places, and many time we treat this Grace and Truth as an unseen object or some king of forces, but they are God who tasted the death for our salvation - 30.Jesus replied, A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and he fell among robbers, who stripped him and beat him and departed, leaving him half dead. 31.Now by chance a priest was going down that road, and when he saw him he passed by on the other side. 32.So likewise a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. 33.But a Samaritan, as he journeyed, came to where he was, and when he saw him, he had compassion. 34.He went to him and bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he set him on his own animal and brought him to an inn and took care of him. 35.And the next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper, saying, Take care of him, and whatever more you spend, I will repay you when I come back - Luke 10:30-35
Next Chapter: Abraham's Explanation
