Trinity of Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is Father, Word, and the Holy Spirit
Jesus Christ is Father, Word, and the Holy Spirit
The first person who spoke about the Trinity of the God was Jesus Christ - 18.Jesus came and said to them, All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19.Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20.teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age - Matthew 28:18-20
That's what the reason Christians alone have the knowledge of the Triune God, "Father, Word, and the Holy Spirit", any non Christian including Jew does not know anything about the Trinity, and if he understood this, he could not be a Jew, he must have to accept Jesus Christ and become a child of God, but the common opinion about Jesus Christ is that he is the second person in the Triune God, but this opinion undoubtedly raises the following questions.
If Jesus Christ is the second person in the Trinity, then it seems as if the Father, who is the first person, handed over the second person to the cross, how can this be accepted? - Father who sent me - John 5:37
If Jesus Christ is the second person in the Trinity, how can the second person be the son of the first person? - You are my Son; today I have begotten you - Psalms 2:7
If Jesus Christ is the second person in the Trinity, then He should be called the very image of the Word, but the Bible calls Him the very image of God, If He is the very image of God, then He must not only be the Word, but also possess the Father and the Holy Spirit - Jesus Christ is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation - Colossians 1:15
What is the meaning of Jesus Christ saying that the Father would be with me even in the cross? - Behold, the hour is coming, indeed it has come, when you will be scattered, each to his own home, and will leave me alone. Yet I am not alone, for the Father is with me - John 16:32
If the resurrected Jesus Christ gave commands through the Holy Spirit, did the Holy Spirit also suffer on the cross? - In the first book, O Theophilus, I have dealt with all that Jesus began to do and teach, until the day when he was taken up, after he had given commands through the Holy Spirit to the apostles whom he had chosen - Acts 1:1-2
The answer to this has been explained throughout the Bible, and there is no doubt that understanding of these things will bring us even closer to the Lord Jesus Christ.
Apostle John about Trinity of Jesus Christ
The apostle John, who used to be very close with Jesus, even by leaning on Christ bosom, written the secrets of heaven, and he mentioned that the invisible God of heaven are three persons, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit, and at the same time, all three are one and indivisible - because there are three who are testifying in Heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit, and these three are one - 1 John 5:7
When speaking of Jesus Christ, he mentions that when the Son of the Word manifested in flesh [Water], the Son of the Father dwelt within Him [Blood], and the Son of the Holy Spirit also filled Him - 5.Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God. 6.This is the one who came by water and blood - Jesus Christ. He did not come by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth - 1 John 5:5-6
And how the Triune God are one in heaven, so the Son of the Holy Spirit [Spirit], the Son of the Word [Water], and the Son of the Father [Blood] are in one, that is our Lord Jesus Christ - and there are three who are testifying in the earth: the Spirit [Holy Spirit], and the water [Word], and the blood [Father] and the three are into the one - 1 John 5:8
And then, apostle John emphasized that this is the testimony of the God of heaven concerning his Son Jesus Christ, and we must understand it and keep it in our hearts, and whoever does not believe this makes the God who cannot lie a liar - 9.If we receive the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater, for this is the testimony of God that he has borne concerning his Son. 10.Whoever believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself. Whoever does not believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has borne concerning his Son - 1 John 5:9-13
before reading further, we must understand that Christ spoke everything in parables, that means, every word of Christ will have direct and worldly meaning, as well as the actual and the heavenly meaning, and God would reveal the actual meaning only to those who are longing for - 34.All these things Jesus said to the crowds in parables; indeed, he said nothing to them without a parable. 35.This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet: I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world. 36.Then he left the crowds and went into the house. And his disciples came to him, saying, Explain to us the parable of the weeds of the field - Matthew 13:34-36
Now let's continue the subject "Trinity of Jesus Christ".. How can we accept the Trinity of Jesus Christ? and we never heard anyone talking about Son of the Father, Son of the word, and the Son of Holy Spirit? Does not the New Testament starts like this - The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham - Matthew 1:1, Who do David and Abraham, who are mentioned as examples here, represent? do they not represent the Holy Spirit and the Father? then, the very first verse itself saying Jesus Christ[Son of the word], the Son of the Holy Spirit [David], and the Son of the Father [Abraham].
So the truth is, when the Word, the second person of the Trinity, sent his Son as Jesus Christ [the Word became flesh and dwelt among us - John 1:14], the Son of Father, the first person of the Trinity also dwelt in Jesus Christ [we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father - John 1:14] and the Son of Holy Spirit also anointed him [The Spirit of the Lord is upon me - Luke 4:18], that's why the Bible says Jesus Christ is with full of Grace and Truth [full of Grace and Truth - John 1:14]
Apostle Peter about the Trinity of Jesus Christ
Once Jesus Christ showed these two of them that dwells in him to his disciples, but when the disciples saw the Son of the Father, and the Son of the Holy Spirit, they were completely clueless and thought they were seeing Moses and Elijah - 1.And after six days Jesus took with him Peter and James, and John his brother, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. 2.And he was transfigured before them, and his face shone like the sun, and his clothes became white as light. 3.And behold, there appeared to them Moses and Elijah, talking with him. 4.And Peter said to Jesus, Lord, it is good that we are here. If you wish, I will make three tents here, one for you and one for Moses and one for Elijah - Matthew 17:1-4
But Peter's expression undoubtably confirms that they did not see old testament prophets Moses and Elijah, but some unimaginable characters, when Peter said, It is good that we are here, it sound like the presence of Moses and Elijah gave him more peace than Jesus himself being with him, then it's a human worship, and its not at all acceptable in God's sight. And also, when heavenly Father acknowledged Jesus Christ, He did not acknowledge here my beloved son standing with Moses and Elijah, but He said this is my beloved Son, that means all three of them are His Sons [Son of the Father, Son of the Word, and the Son of the Holy Spirit] -5.He was still speaking when, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; listen to him. 6.When the disciples heard this, they fell on their faces and were terrified. 7.But Jesus came and touched them, saying, Rise, and have no fear. 8.And when they lifted up their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus only. 9.And as they were coming down the mountain, Jesus commanded them, “Tell no one the vision, until the Son of Man is raised from the dead - Matthew 17:5-9
And later, when Peter wrote about the Mount of Transfiguration, he did not say anything about Moses and Elijah, but Jesus Christ alone, the Image of Trinity God - 16.For we did not follow cleverly devised myths when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty. 17.For when he received honor and glory from God the Father, and the voice was borne to him by the Majestic Glory, This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased, 18.we ourselves heard this very voice borne from heaven, for we were with him on the holy mountain - 2 Peter 1:16-18 And in another place, Apostle Peter mentioned the Trinity of Jesus Christ like this - God anointed Jesus of Nazareth[Son of the Word] with the Holy Spirit[Son of the Holy Spirit] and with Power[Son of the Father], who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him - Acts 10:38
Not just disciples, Abraham also saw the Trinity of Jesus Christ, and it's recorded like this - 1.And the Lord appeared to him by the oaks of Mamre, as he sat at the door of his tent in the heat of the day. 2.He lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, three men were standing in front of him. When he saw them, he ran from the tent door to meet them and bowed himself to the earth - Genesis 18:1-2
Why this Truth is so critical?
Once, Christ healed a demon possessed man, and and sent him away, telling him to declare to everyone that "God has healed him", But the man went away and announced to everyone that "Jesus healed him" - 38.The man from whom the demons had gone begged that he might be with him, but Jesus sent him away, saying, 39.“Return to your home, and declare how much God has done for you.” And he went away, proclaiming throughout the whole city how much Jesus had done for him - Luke 8:38-39
So, did he disobey Jesus' command? Not at all! On the contrary, it is true that he declared that Jesus is God, because in his heart Jesus is God, and perhaps if he went and declared, "God has healed me" then it is true that Jesus was not God in his heart.
Similarly, Jesus Christ commanded his disciples to Baptize in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit - Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit - Matthew 28:19
But the Peter who knows the Truth, Baptized in the name of Jesus Christ to tell the world that Jesus Christ is Father, Son and the Holy Spirit - Peter said to them, Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit - Acts 2:38
And in another place, Peter, who was appointed by the Lord as the rock for the church, commanded to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, that we must understand that for our salvation, Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit all three of them suffered on the Cross - Peter commanded them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ - Acts 10:48
A mother was teaching her three-year-old son to speak, and the boy was beautifully repeating everything his mother said. At that time, the mother took her son to the dentist and told him to "open your mouth," and he repeated, "open your mouth." Similarly, many today say they will simply do exactly as the Lord commanded, "in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit," when giving baptisms. We should not be like that. We must inquire and understand why Peter, the apostle appointed by God, gave baptisms in the name of the Lord Jesus, and we must be those who are well-versed in the word of righteousness - 12.For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the basic principles of the oracles of God. You need milk, not solid food, 13.for everyone who lives on milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, since he is a child - Hebrews 5:12-13
That is why, nowhere in the Bible you will find anyone being baptized in the name of "the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit", The apostle Paul also wrote that baptism should be administered in the name of the Lord Jesus, therefore we must baptize in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, being mindful and proclaiming the gospel that the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit all three of them suffered for us - 1.And it happened that while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul passed through the inland country and came to Ephesus. There he found some disciples. 2.And he said to them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” And they said, “No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.” 3.And he said, “Into what then were you baptized?” They said, “Into John's baptism.” 4.And Paul said, “John baptized with the baptism of repentance, telling the people to believe in the one who was to come after him, that is, Jesus.” 5.On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6.And when Paul had laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they began speaking in tongues and prophesying - Acts 19:1-6
I am not "God", I am "Gods"
but the people with the religion identity never wanted to see one Abraham saw, and don't want to listen what Christ is saying and argued how can you say, "you are God?", that's when Christ spoke about his Trinity and asked, did not you law says, "I am Gods" - 30.I and the Father are one. 31.The Jews picked up stones again to stone him. 32.Jesus answered them, I have shown you many good works from the Father; for which of them are you going to stone me? 33.The Jews answered him, It is not for a good work that we are going to stone you but for blasphemy, because you, being a man, make yourself God. 34.Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your Law, I said, you are Gods? 35.If he called them gods to whom the word of God came and Scripture cannot be broken. 36.do you say of him whom the Father consecrated and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’? - John 10:30-36
So here, Jesus Christ himself confirmed that he is not just the Son of the Word, but also the Son of the Father, and the Son of the Holy Spirit, that was the reason, the prophet Asaph called Jesus Christ as "Gods" and "Sons of the Most High" in the plural - 6.I said, You are Gods, Sons of the Most High, all of you. 7.nevertheless, like men you shall die, and fall like any prince. 8.Arise, O God, judge the earth; for you shall inherit all the nations - Psalm 82:6-8
Like this there are many prophecies have been spoken in plural, if we don't accept Christ's Trinity, we many not be able to understand the actual meaning or we ended up including disciples with Christ or we may ended up putting ourselves in the place Christ, which is so dangerous.
