so far we have seen the tender heart of our Heavenly Father from the Book of John, its really like a treasure hidden in the field, which revels God's love towards us, and now will see few parables in the book of Matthew and Mark.
When book of Matthew and Mark talks about Christ crucifixion and resurrection, one of the main conclusion recorded in the Book of Mark is, the resurrected king first showed himself to Mary Magdalene - 9.Now when he rose early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons. 10.She went and told those who had been with him, as they mourned and wept. 11.But when they heard that he was alive and had been seen by her, they would not believe it - Mark 16:9-11
But Mary Magdalene did not go alone to the tomb, she went along with Mary the mother of James, and Salome, and then how its possible that Christ appeared only to Mary Magdalene? - 1.When the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices, so that they might go and anoint him. 2.And very early on the first day of the week, when the sun had risen, they went to the tomb. 3.And they were saying to one another, Who will roll away the stone for us from the entrance of the tomb? - Mark 16:1-3
Matthew identify the one who went along with Mary Magdalene as "Other Mary", because when we say "Mary" the first thing that comes into our mind is Christ's earthly mother, but "Other Mary" means Christ's Heavenly Mother[God of Heaven], It appears as other Mary just accompanied Mary Magdalene to see the tomb, but that is not true, Actually the Other Mary[God of Heaven] took Mary Magdalene to share the joy of his Son's victory over death. - 1.Now after the Sabbath, toward the dawn of the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to see the tomb. 2.And behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the stone and sat on it. 3.His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing white as snow - Matthew 28:1-3
Matthew mentioned that the Other Mary[God of Heaven] was there at the time of Christ crucifixion, and also He sat opposite to the tomb of his only begotten Son, Matthew also called him as "Mary the mother of James and Joseph" - 54.When the centurion and those who were with him, keeping watch over Jesus, saw the earthquake and what took place, they were filled with awe and said, Truly this was the Son of God! 55.There were also many women there, looking on from a distance, who had followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering to him, 56.among whom were Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of James and Joseph and the mother of the sons of Zebedee. 57.When it was evening, there came a rich man from Arimathea, named Joseph, who also was a disciple of Jesus. 58.He went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. Then Pilate ordered it to be given to him. 59.And Joseph took the body and wrapped it in a clean linen shroud 60.and laid it in his own new tomb, which he had cut in the rock. And he rolled a great stone to the entrance of the tomb and went away. 61.Mary Magdalene and the other Mary were there, sitting opposite the tomb - Matthew 27:54-61
Mark mentioned the Other Mary[God of Heaven] as "Mary the mother of James the Less and of Joses" - 37.And Jesus cried out with a loud voice, and breathed His last. 38.Then the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. 39.So when the centurion, who stood opposite Him, saw that He cried out like this and breathed His last, he said, Truly this Man was the Son of God! 40.There were also women looking on from afar, among whom were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James the Less and of Joses, and Salome, 41.who also followed Him and ministered to Him when He was in Galilee, and many other women who came up with Him to Jerusalem. 42.Now when evening had come, because it was the Preparation Day, that is, the day before the Sabbath, 43.Joseph of Arimathea, a prominent council member, who was himself waiting for the kingdom of God, coming and taking courage, went in to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. 44.Pilate marveled that He was already dead; and summoning the centurion, he asked him if He had been dead for some time. 45.So when he found out from the centurion, he granted the body to Joseph. 46.Then he bought fine linen, took Him down, and wrapped Him in the linen. And he laid Him in a tomb which had been hewn out of the rock, and rolled a stone against the door of the tomb. 47.And Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses observed where He was laid - Mark 15:37-47
